Meet the Dietitian: Annette Louw
More about Annette
Annette completed her Bachelor of Science honors degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Stellenbosch in 2014. After completing a year of community service, she moved back to Cape Town, where she started working as a Private Practicing Registered Dietitian.
Annette has a special interest in science-based weight management. She completed a variety of additional courses to better manage these clients. The practice also offers a new approach to safe and effective weight loss, namely the OPTIFAST Very low calorie diet program, which has shown great success among clients.
She also has a special interest in nutritional intervention based on genetic testing. She is an accredited Geneway-practitioner and offers genetic testing through the practice.
Annette is registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa), which requires a health professional to stay up to date with the latest research through ongoing training.
